4.75"...... is better than I thought already .... I like your bumper very much, that is awesome!! I think I will go for that, if I can find myself a nice FD to invest my money on!!

sorry if i missed it somewere else in the thread but what is your suspension set-up?

BTW: I just measured my car its 5 1/2" from the ground to the car. I have a R1 front lip and still have the stock suspension.
Dammit! I lost 3/4" by installing the front alone. What's your height from ground to top of wheel opening?

WRT suspension, I've got the ubiquitous but oh so unsatisfactory Koni Sports (yellow) w/ Ground Control coil-over sleeves and Eibach springs (550 lb/in front & 450 lb/in rear). I'm hoping to sell this setup and get a set of Penske, JRZ or Aragostas. Just gotta save up a but.

I've got 25 3/4" in the front and 26" in the back, with a full tank of fuel.

BTW: What kinda price were you thinking for the shocks and springs?

What dont you like about your shock/springs...I actually just switched to that setup...granted I went slightly softer with 450/375..I mean I'd throw them away for Penske,JRZ's too...but have you tracked this set-up..or are you dissing it.

Yeah, I've tracked this setup a coupla times but mostly autox. For the record, the GC coil over sleeves are very nicely built - I like 'em. The Eibachs are also good quality - like them too. I believe the rebound damping is the problem. The valving in the Koni yellows max out to around 275lb/in so on a rapid transition it cannot control proper weight transfer. The abrupt release (rebound) is quite unsettling. I believe the Konis are a great match for the stock springs cuz it was quite nicely matched b4 I got my GCs.

When I get/order my Penskes, I'll find out what spring rate/valving Guy Ankeny recommends for my usage and post them up for reference. (He used to work @ Tripoint when they had the all-conquering SCCA A/SP FD3S).

Ciao....

Hay hedge hog, I think I may have ridden in your car at the boundry bay auto X. It was like maybe 3 months ago. It was the day when you guys were all driving each others cars for a change. You probably dont remember me but I told you that I use to have a 87 turbo 2. Anyway if that is you, your car has changed imensely. it did not have wheels on it or that spoiler or any of that body kit either. Looks tight though man. And Hay maybe I will see you out there again some time in the spring.

I had the chance to see hedgehog's car today at a bcRx7 car club meet and I must say, as impressive as it looks on your guys' monitors it looks 500% MORE AWESOME in real life. Now I cant wait for my body kit to be finshed being painted....
