FDs – What are they worth?

They are worth their weight in gold if done properly.

LANE_CHANGE just sold his gorgeous FD for $22K. Someone got a good deal.

For all you guys that knock FDs then remember they are very rare. If you upgrade to a single turbo and have it tuned by a pro(Steve Kan comes to mind) and don’t screw up the maintenance then it will last a long time(50K miles).

All you FD guys know the down falls.

Just do it right and the world loves FDs.

Everywhere I go the people just love this car.

The FD will be a classic 20 years from now when I’m gone.

You can disagree with this 61-year old, but great guys like JIMLAB invested tons into this platform. He’s one of the most knowledgeable guys I know.

All you negative guys can bring it on.

I can take it.

I have a friend who just sold a 93 for $24k. (I also work on this car)

Another FD I work on just got an offer for $30k.

I was offered $25k, the day mine was back on the road...I told him I wouldn't take less than $30k. After I started boosting 17psi, he is kicking himself.

I've gotten business cards under my door handle, "IF YOU EVER WANT TO SELL THIS CAR CALL --->"

these are all stock trim single 7's.

So, ROCK ON LUV94RX7 with your-bad-self!!!

Hmmm, so you'll be 81 in twenty years..... I wouldn't be surprised if your love for FD's kept you around for another 40 years. Just take care of yourself as well as you do your FD!

Talking

Worth can be a material thing--like money--or a sentimental one--like that "whoa" feeling you get when looking at a beautiful woman (or for the women, looking at men). Or in our case, an FD.

That "whoa" feeling is timeless, powerful, and is what makes an FD an FD.... I would take this car over ANY car available (past or present). Of course, provided that it would start/run properly more often than not... I'm working on that part

I LOVE THIS CAR!

As I've said before, if nothing else, our cars will be worth a lot just for the parts. Especially if Mazda continues to raise the price of stock parts as they have lately or, even worse, stop making parts at all. I called yesterday for the rear carpet for the hatch and Mazda wanted $250.

Well...my car got hit and they were thinking of totaling it because KBB value was 14k. But when the insurance company does their "Market Research" they told my my car, for the things i have done to it, is worth 23-25k.

I guess this is not the LOUNGE.

Here's a couple of pics of a classic.

Cool car! Is that a raptor BOV? Godzilla's little brother...

Looks like you've got all the go fast goodies; how much power does she lay down?
