FD not running right (video)

hey i just installed my rebuilt motor with streetport and i started up the fd the other day and it idles like this:

http://media.putfile.com/FD_idle

When i put everything back together and started it, the power fc commander is not showing a reading for the intake air temp. could that cause the problem? some of my friends say it sounds like one of the spark plugs are missing maybe? it kinda sounds like its burping or something, hard to explain. then engine is really shaky when it does it.

thanks,
Craig

Sounds like a streetport idling to me. Mine misses intermittantly at idle, too.

It doesnt sound like anything is wrong to me, lower the idle to what it should be and let it warm up FULLY, and see how it idles, if its still a little jumpy you can mess with the fuel at idle with your power fc to make it idle smoother. And ill repeat this again, make sure its warmed up.

definately...i think any streetport rotary will sound like that when its cold and at 1800. If it was at 800 it would sound a lot calmer

The air intake sensor and the water temp sensor are the same and it seems they are easy enough to get crossed up (the connector from one will reach the other and vise-a-versa) try swapping them and see if you get an air temp reading.

i actually got the new intake sensor in today. i tried plugging it up to the connector on the harness and it still didnt read it on the commander. so that tells me the wire on the harness is not connecting to the ecu correctly.

i never removed the sensors from their spots under the uim and on the water pump housing thing. does anyone know where on the back of the ecu the wire comes in from the air intake temp sensor so i can check it?
thanks

sounds good to me...drop your idle down to 1200RPM or break in period though.
