Fd interior fuse box question

I’m looking at my interior fuse box on my 93 Fd and the place where it seems all people take ignition power from for gauges etc. (right above the fuses). Has a black two terminal circuit breaker in that location. Looking at a wiring diagram for the fuse box it shows nothing about any breaker there, but looking at the parts manual it has a call out for the breaker. Anyone know what the breaker is for?

I don't think there are any circuit breakers on the RX7, so I suspect you've either got something aftermarket added or you're just using different words to describe something that was there from the factory. I agree a photo of what you're seeing should help.

Not my pic but if it helps this is a stock fuse panel (without cover)…

It is a factory circuit breaker no doubt, same part is used in the fc fuse box.

Interesting.... those 2 spots are typically left open. I've never seen that before. Those are like free terminals.... expansion slots kind of. It's where I get power to run gauges and things. What doesn't work with the breaker removed?

With it pulled I took the car for a short drive and couldn’t find anything not working. Tested everything I could think of too. When I’ve got some time I’m going to pull the fuse box out and test to see if any of the connectors are even pinned to that circuit

Yea, I don't have that on my fuse box either, that's where most folks get their switched 12V for their add-on electronic.

In all my google image searches of interior fuse boxes in Fd’s I did find one other with the breaker also in place. Like you say who knows if it was in there from the factory or a service tech somewhere along the line put it in not knowing. Possibly was something for a different market than the US?

I see the breaker in the wiring diagram image, but have not find a section that talk about it.
