it's a circuit breaker, a form of fuse that just trips and pops out like the circuit panel in a house.

nice pics by the way. i think a crayola and a piece of paper could do better than that camera.

well, like i said, i took it out and it fell apart, into like 5 pieces. i clamped the pieces together one piece at a time and gorrilla glued them together, and filled the inside with gorrilla glue, so i suppose it will work, but will it be safe?

before it pulled it the heater and defog did work, though i don't know how when it fell apart just by pulling it out to have more room to work with under there. (i am a big guy and have big hands, and so have to remove stuff in the way)

Small threadjack:

When I turn on the windshield deforster on, the car dies. My mind is being continually fucked every day with this car.

I've got a spare if you need it. Just pay for shipping and it's yours free. Unless mine is a cause of problems, then I will need my spare :/

The bi-metal strips that makes the circuit breaker circuit protection function wil not work with glue inside. You might as well throw a jumper wire in the fuse box instead if you plan to try to use that CB the way it is (not recommended) .
