fast idle after many mods, help!!!
OK, guys just the did the following mods.
Remove DT actuator and everything related to it.
Remove the AWS.
Remove the Throttle body coolant.
Now my Idle won't go lower than 1000. I have remove the spring on the coolant sensor (fast idle cam) and got the screw all the way down, just like it is explained on rob robinette's site.
What could be my problem, everything was fine before.
thanks a million

Stupid question but you did adjust your idle rpm on your management system didnt you? Sounds like you've thinned the mix too much with the mods and need to make the proper fuel adjustments. Or I could be a dumbass.
Uh .....yea I assumed he had already done that. I was also assuming these were not the mods that were causing the problem. i.e. IC,MP,DP,Catback. I guess I shouldn't assume. So anyway the throttle screw is on the front of throttle body as im4u pointed out. The bolt is 8 mm and then a flat head for the screw make sure you dont snap it.I've seen it happen.

ok but does the thing i have remove makes automatically the car idle higher? There must be something wrong with what i did because i had no problem before removing the throttle body coolant, the aws and the DT

Note: you only adjust the throttle adjustment screw after you have adjusted the Air Adjustment Screw (AAS) and were not able to get the desired results. The AAS is located on the throttle body under the elbow, centered. Flat head screw driver is needed.
