It is the Mazda Motorsports part #. I just assumed that it is the same as a regular Mazda part #. Please correct me if this is not the case.

Thanks guys. I have a shop and I was trying to order it through my oem supplier. It looks like they can't get it. I'll just have to pay retail on this one.

The Y-pipe is not an OEM replacement part for the US-market FD, it is an upgrade to the 96+ Japan-spec model, so it gets a Motorsports part number.

You can get it from www.mazdamotorsports.com you do not have to be a team support member because it is a competitition part.

Not so. I just came from a local Mazda dealer and the parts guy said if it's made by Mazda and you have a buddy that can pull a few strings, you can order it.

I would bet that it depends on the dealership....

You can also get the efini at Mazdaformance. I just got one a week or so ago. Their price is $235, and they had it in stock. You absolutely can't find a better place to deal with either.

Never said you couldn't order it. Just that it is not a 93-95 FD OEM replacement for the stock piping and the crappy rubber coupler. If you have a buddy with a team support number to order it, more power to you. Or go thru Mazdaformance.

My understanding is that the mazda dealer must supply the VIN number. If it matches the 96+ parts, then mazda will supply the parts. They will not deny any people repair parts for their cars. Since they will not prove that you have the car (which could be imported with some finesse), they will ship the part out special order.

Does anyone have the JDM Mazda part #'s? (looking for crossover pipe #)
Mazdaformance is out of business and that who I used to get it from. Malloy will check with a part #. Mazdaspeed is closed for lunch and i'm not shure if they still sell factory parts to non-memebers.

I'd be suprised if you find individual part numbers, if that's what you're refering to. However, most if not all of the RX-7 vendors carry the "kit"

Mazda Japan prices always good.

those are 'name codes', not 'part numbers' btw. For example, an oil metering pump has a name code of 14-6001, but the actual part number is N3F1-14-600. In any case - they are both searchable in the database, so a parts guy shouldn't have any issues finding them. If you need the part numbers, let me know, I've got them filed away at home.
