ECU numbers
No info here on 1993 model or 1995 model, but...
My 1994 parts catalog lists the ECU part number for a 1994 Federal (non-CA) FD as N3C1-18-881A for a manual transmission car and N3C2-18-881A for an auto transmission car.

The '94 info on that thread is a little off, but the part numbers will get you in the ballpark.
The EGR *switch* is the difference. All '93s and '94s have an EGR valve that's vacuum actuated. The switch on the valve is only there on '93 Cali cars and all '94s. The switch verifies that the command to make the EGR valve move was received and executed.
None of the '95s have EGR at ALL. Also, JDM cars have no EGR.
Or get a PowerFC - no 3000 RPM hesitation, no EGR BS, tuneable, makes the car SO much better.
