ECU numbers
Hello, I can't seem to find any info on this. What is the ECU number for a 93 non cali car as well as the number for a 95 car? Thanks.
|
No info here on 1993 model or 1995 model, but...
My 1994 parts catalog lists the ECU part number for a 1994 Federal (non-CA) FD as N3C1-18-881A for a manual transmission car and N3C2-18-881A for an auto transmission car. |
I need the other two since the 94 has a egr sensor I believe.
|
93 rest of US. off of my spare ECU. N3A1-18-881A. with the last 8 being hard to read but pretty certain its an 8.
|
So thats a non cali ECU?
|
believe so. I'm here on the east coast and only hear tid bits about California emissions.
among other emission parts it controlled the air pump, ACV and EGR. |
There shouldnt be a sensor for the EGR right? Only cali had sensors for EGR, as well as the 94s
|
1993 rest of US had EGR's. actuated by air through rats nest solenoid, its controlled by ECU.
check out the 93 and 94 Full shop manuals in the FAQ and helpful info sticky. |
For everyone, but I also responded via PM -
https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...highlight=n3c1 The '94 info on that thread is a little off, but the part numbers will get you in the ballpark. The EGR *switch* is the difference. All '93s and '94s have an EGR valve that's vacuum actuated. The switch on the valve is only there on '93 Cali cars and all '94s. The switch verifies that the command to make the EGR valve move was received and executed. None of the '95s have EGR at ALL. Also, JDM cars have no EGR. Or get a PowerFC - no 3000 RPM hesitation, no EGR BS, tuneable, makes the car SO much better. Dale |
I would get a Power FC but I have to pass smog first.
