Thats like $47 USD which isn't too bad. But I would rather just run a few strategically placed ground wires instead of having that bulky thing in my engine bay. If you like the look then go for it.

It will certainly not hurt anything, though you may be better off saving the money for a PFC if you don't have one.

just buy some 8 or 4g wire and some gold/copper crimp heads. damian has a good writeup on the necessary ground points

Where might I find that write-up? The prior owner put in a ground wire kit and frankly I'm not sure that all of them are necessary and some of the them just get in the way.

I bought one of the ebay ones. Figured, it was only $40 so not much of a loss if it didn't work. I just used the wires from the kit and used the mounting points that Damian had pointed out in his post.

The ebay kit should have enough wires for the mounting points in the examples. I didn't use all of them only about 5 or so and my car runs and idles much smoother. I didn't bother using the large round part with the Mazdaspeed label.

I did notice some discoloration of the my blue ground wires after about 10k miles.
