Downpipe midpipe and stock catback
Hi, for my 94 could I run a downpipe, catless/resonated midpipe, and stock exhaust without having to worry about boost creep? I've searched but haven't found an answer to my exact scenario. Thanks in advance.

my friend ran DP/MP on an otherwise stock car for years, and it was fine. he beat the %&it out of it too, AND on 89 pump. dunno about creep we never checked
that being said, i think a DP, stock cat, and catback of your choice is probably a better setup overall.

For a while there I was running a dp, resonated midpipe, and a stock catback. With that setup MY CAR did not experience any boost creep. As soon as I changed to a rb catback I got creep to 12 psi. Note that every car is different so when you slap on those mods make sure you keep an eye on your boost gauge (you better have one).
As far as sound was concerned: the car sounded good. A little throaty at idle, quiet at cruise, and not too loud at wot.

I agree with the forgoing statement. Note that the stock catback IS the single most restrictive piece in the stock exhaust system, followed by the stock DP/pre-cat. Interestingly enough, the stock main cat is a very good flowing piece, comparatively speaking. (This info is derived from actual flow tests.)
