Does this WG porting look too big?

Cars only making 5lbs on a streeported full non-sequential setup . . .

it doesn't look too big but close the flap, if you can't see on each side, that shouldn't be your problem.

If you did a hose job while down there, make sure you didn't inadvertenly toss the hoses with the restrictor pills in them. That would put you closer to 7 psi, but still worth a look. Put some machinist's dye or paint on the flap and take an imprint with it closed. You don't need much overlap, but you can't see any gaps.

I Went to the very edge and there a crack near the back, so I'm sure that isn't helping. Also I did toss the restrictor pills because I thought with a electronic boost controller they should be removed from the lines. . .

That is fine. Almost all wastegates I've seen w/ a few miles on them have that crack. Your boost problem is not due to the port job. Mine actually is a bit more than that by eyeballing the smooth edge. G
