does everyone like there profec b boost controlers

i have been doing some research, but still have questions. can the low/high boost settings be determined by the user? how high can you set the high setting. the install looks fairly simple, does anyone have any custom interior installs? is there better ones out there i don't think i need all the bells and whistles some offer. any input would help. thanks

Here's where mine is installed. I like it cause it's not visible while driving, yet it's easy to access for when I wanna turn up the boost.

Yes the user can define the high/low boost setting. Just a simple turn of the **** is all it takes.

A boost controller will not help with creep. Spike yes, creep no. You need restriction in the exhaust, or you need to port your wastegate. You can install a high flow cat or some homemade restrictor plates (gaskets with a smaller open diameter) to cut down on the creep.

Here is a pic of my profec; I love the thing and it's very accessible mounted over the steering column:

I did this, and also tapped into the high boost LED. I have the Profec in the glove box, and have a smal red LED next to the PFC that is on when high boost is on. The only way to do either of these things is to crack open the unit, and tap into the PC board, unless you want to buy the remote switch that Greddy sells, and butcher that. Let me know if enyone is interested and I will tell you how to do it.

profec b

i have a 3bar profec b for sale

if yer interested let me know.

this one was a bit more than the two bar...is capable of controlling boost at the highest levels a rotary can handle.

it works fantastic...i would keep it except that i paid thru the nose at xs engineering and they pulled it out and set it up with the power fc (boost control unit)...which is working great....

i used it for about 300 miles before xs installed their kit.

I have mine installed same as Godfella, except that I used velcro to attach it to the steering column cover - that way it sits lower and doesn't obscure my view of the RPMs much.

the profec b is, in my opinion, the best boost controller to start with. its very easy to use. alot of people never switch and if they do its to run really high boost or to fine tune there boost pattern
