Does the ECU have a dedicated Water Temp sensor?
Well my temp gauge goes to HOT , asoon as I open the ignition * not start *
after I start the car . the power FC commander tells me the degrees in Celsius started at 22 degrees and I shut the car off at 88C ,
so I mean thats working ..
BUT the gauge on the gauge cluster seems to be grounded somewhere and read HOT as high as it can go the whole time .
not I'm trying to figure out if there is a short ..
or if the sensor is bad ..
but unless the power FC has its own dedicated temp sensor .. then that temp sensor cant be bad since it was working with the Power FC.. and the short is in the front harness .

yeah its behind the thermostat housing on top. Green connector. Thats for ecu sensor. The gauge is a one wire sensor. Id check to see if you have wiring problems first before replacing sensor
