does this AST suppose to have a gap like this?

does there suppose to be a gap in the 2 halfs of the AST tank,look at the pic I loaded up

i don't see any gaps, looks like a normal POS stock AST to me.

That's a normal AST. Get rid of it and replace with an all aluminum or do the AST elimination.

The only gap I see is where your intercooler pipe should be. The AST should be bolted to the intercooler where the bracket with the hole in it is sticking out in the photo.

I don't see a gap in that AST. But more importantly it has turned green (yeah big surprise) time to get rid of it... Like yesterday

Yeahh , delete that AST it really isnt necessary and its a reliability risk , youi never know when it may blow up dump all your coolant and overheat your engine .

but if you are adamant about wanting one , buy an aluminum one
