Yeah, those F1 cars are really heavy barges and the races take all day!

If somebody really wants heavier steering I would max out the caster before I did anything else.

F1 cars may ACT like heavy cars due to the tremendoes grip and downforce... it takes alot of effort to drive one in many respects.

Nobody necessarily "wants" heavy steering, but I think the point is that the true manual rack does offer a bit better feel (IMO), MARGINALLY more effort for anything other than a 3-point u-turn in a parking lot, and saves weight and complexity along with gaining access to engine components, like spark plugs.

Also: removing it affords you a nice hole to mount other things, like larger catch cans, air seperator tanks, dedicated OMP supplys, whatever.

You'd really be surprised at how light the steering is.
