Why is that when I remove the rear top spark plug wire my engine will start, well not totally remove but take off the boot and rest it on the spark plug, and when I start the engine I will see the actual sparking but the engine will run normal.

Some guys call it long spark or something like that. Is it because my coils are weak or not a good ground some where or just not enough electric power
