Difference is price...why?

I am browsing through rx7.com, rx7store.net and pettitracing.com for a downpipe and midpipe. So far, rx7store.net has the cheapest ones, but why? Why is pettit and rx7.com much more expensive...almost double. Anyone has any experience with rx7store.net DP/midpipe combo?

Thanks

Some dp's from rx7store dont fit like they're supposed to. My dp from rx7store took a little customizing to make it fit. I had to make dents in my downpipe just so it'll fit right. i've heard nothing but good things about the hKS dp. Has the perfect bends and fits perfectly with no hassle (i've heard).

The opposite. Ppl tend to stay away from the HKS dp b/c of the nasty bends it has in it which aren't necessary.

I think it's safe to say the two best MPs available (in the US) are the M2 (discontinued, but still obtainable) and the Pettit. Reason being, excellent fitment and very very high quality. The price reflects that though...

The HKS bends are not unnecessary, the bends are there to allow fitment on JDM cars.

Yes I'm aware. Hence them being unnecessary here in the US

The Pettit is expensive, but I promise you won't be disappointed. I had the Pettit DP and MP on my car, and it's VERY nice (when you see it in person, you'll know what I'm talkin about. Top notch quality).

Oh and I just saw your post re: the KS lights. I'll get ya taken care of shortly.

Thanks!

They make nice high flow cats... Very high quality, beautiful sound. Ran one on my FB, and after a year or so w/ an RB cat, I took that thing off and got another Bonez. Love 'em

The M2 was an awesome fitting DP. One of the best around.

I use the Bonez D/P w/ the RX7store Resonated M/P, fits great, and the M/P quiets the exhaust quite a bit...
