Died then comes back.
This is the 2nd time this happens thats why Im here. Today I was there in traffic waiting for the light to go green. The car just died on me. So I go to start and it doesnt even turn over, there is no power anywhere in the car (hazards, lights) nothing works. I sat there about 5 mins under the hood following wires and found nothing out of the ordinary. Then the lights pop up and its all normal again. If it was a short wouldnt it have drained the battery. I have not had any starting problems or any battery draining problems. From what I spent time searching I didnt see any faulty wires either. Something with the ECU maybe?? Anyone input is apprecaited.

I've never heard of an ECU cuting in and out. From what you described it's definatly something that has to do with power being supplied to the car.
My old truck would cut out sometimes and just not do anything just as you described. I'd suggest making sure you have a very tight and secure attachement with the batter terminals. If there's any acid on them clean it off and put a little coating of grease around the terminals to ensure that any acid that might come back doesn't.
If that's not your problem, follow all the wires coming off the terminals and inspect them closely for any kind of short, kink, etc.
One thing that's hard to understand tho is why your car would just die from failure to deliver electricity, if anything your radio etc. would just shut off, not the car.
I dunno honestly, never happened to me. Never hurts to check what I suggested tho. Hope it helps.

Yea, he definatly made a good point, check the grounds. I didn't even think of that... tho I don't see how that would make the whole care shut off? I dunno... I'm seriously stumped on this one.

First time it happened I was on an incline going into a parking lot (dam thing almost rolled back into the street LoL) but not this time it mid traffic thats what I thought weird. Would a short drain the battery?? One more thing the ECU doesnt have any fail safe against shorts or something maybe??

Hmm good point, maybe some wires are fried or are old. I should take a look at some of them and see what condition they in.
