custom A/C hose?

Hi i'm redoing my custom Vmount intercooler and along with it i would like to put my AC back into use. I was wondering if anyone in the forum does any custom A/C lines by any chance. Where i'll be placing the condenser and the angle of it the stock lines would simply will not reach or not at the right angle so i would like to have some custom lines made with rubber hose so that i can install it a little easier. Thanks.

You'll need to find a local AC shop you can work with that does this sort of thing. There's really no off-the-shelf solution and it requires a lot of expensive tooling to do yourself.

I have custom ac lines but I forgot which fittings I used. Try to find the ac thread created by Halfspec on the other forum. I bought everything from coldhose, you'll need to find a way to crimp the hose or run an lines.

Search Aeroquip EZ Clip A/C hose or Vintage air..

All you need is a 30$ pair of special pliers, hose, some clips, and the their fittings. You have to stick with their brand for everything though.

I have used it before on older cars, super easy and no die needed.

I had a custom hose set made by coldhose in florida (this was for another vehicle, not an rx7). You can send them your original hose/ends and exact length measurements and they can make it, or if you know/can figure out the hose end sizes they may even be able to supply those too. Cost to replace 2) ~15" sections of rubber hose while reusing my hose ends was $70.

Hard lines are probably preferable if they can be sourced. Lots of rubber hose may require more frequent recharges.

When I installed my v-mount I had to have custom hardlines built by my local a/c shop. Not cheap, but works like new. . .
