crank angle sensors

Hey guys, just a quick question.

I'm working on a 93 FD and I was wondering if it matters which crank angle sensor goes on the left and right. The sensors are 2m20 and 2m21.

Let me know!

Muchly Appreciated.

Just remembered the white conector goes at 1:00 position and the gray , not black, goes at the 2:00 position looking at it from the front.

Does getting the sensor wrong affect car idling high?

if i understand correctly....

the question relates to the silver color magnetic barrel shaped SENSORS, not the fittings that plug into them.

they are the same. it makes no diff which goes where. of course it makes a BIG diff which fitting goes where. as in Boom.

Wow. didn't realize it was a "Don't mess up, unless you like rebuilds" type of severity.

As Howard mentioned, it doesn't matter for the sensors themselves. What matters is the harness connections and the order was stated above. No picture needed.
