Crank angle sensor

When removing the wiring harness the CAS clip got ripped off. Fortunatley the EGR clip is the same so I was able to use that instead. Now there are 2 clips for the crank angle sensors. Do the wires on each clip connect in the same order, or are they reversed? I am assuming they are the same, but I wanted to make sure.

Thanks,
Dan

Not sure, but it should be documented in the shop manual pretty clearly. I have a feeling that polarity doesn't matter, but with the crank angle sensors it's better to be on the safe side - that's such a key input to the ECU. I'd do it right bigtime.

To test the resistance it doesn't say anything about using positive on one end and negative on the other, I'll just double check my friends (if i can reach it) to make sure they are the same.

Just check the wiring diagram in the shop manual - it will have the connectors clearly labled with the wire color and position.

The white connector goes on the higher/upper CAS, the grey one attaches to the lower one. Do you know which one you removed?
