Cost of 5th gear Synchro?

Just wondering the price of the actual synchro itself, and any other parts needed!

holy ****.. shut the **** up biatch... I aint in no god damn mood to search... And seeing no one can answer any serious questions around here i Figured i would ask this, seeing its relevant, and i wanted to see what other parts would/should need to be replaced....

People like you rather spend 10 seconds of your life hunting and pecking on the keyboard trying to come up with 100 new ways to tell someone to search... Get over it and either answer the question or leave the thread.....

looks like you had the same questions in another thread dumbass, its just as easy to copy and paste that link here....

****

maybe just the 5th gear synchro is all that is REALLY wrong I will not ever complain about the rest promise

small fortune as in what though? and what did you replace and how did you know what to replace? haha I'll never give up

The syncro itself is about $20 ($13 Mazdacomp).

That's right "dumbass" I said search
it took me 3 minutes to find this https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...w+much+synchro

I don't think I have ever told anyone to search before you are the first and I'll say it again

I have the same 5th gear problem and have used the search button and have found out every thing I need to know that is why I told you to search because I know there is tons of info on this subject on the forum.

I'm going to go look for a thread where I can tell someone to search again

Damn, you can just feel the love here.

BTW, you will need a new "select shift spindle" as well to fix your problem. It has a stiffer spring so you don't - according to the official Mazduh explanation - "mis-shift" and cause $1K worth of damage due to your fucked up driving technique..........

Just a little extra information:

W501-17-725C 5th gear synchro list price $25.45
R503-17-550 Revised Shift Select Spindle list: $48.80
S524-17-112 Gasket for Shift Select Spindle list: $5.00

Order from Mazdaformance.com or any other dealer that gives discounts if you don't have a Mazda Competition Parts account. I paid $57.19 plus shipping from Brian @ mazdaformance.
