just the normal stuff, not the orange. Since it is summer alittle more water than coolant. If you dont plan to change the coolant before winter and u live in Utah, you might want to get 60:40 ratio or so.

Water wetter or purple ice additives you might want to try. Some controversy on what they do to coolant seals but most find they are fine.

Also, might want to consider Evans Coolant, but again, some controversy on it as well.

For aluminum, esp. with aluminum-core aftermarket radiators, I HIGHLY recommend the Valvoline G-05 (aka, Mercedes-Benz Coolant).

I have been using for over a year, and have NEVER boiled-over, and that's in FL heat & humidity, with only ONE oil-cooler, and numerous track-days.

Im told on the purple ice you need to mix it with water before you put it in the rad. Was told from dealer!

All propylene and ethylene glycol types that you mix with water are the same, no matter what anyone tells you. Pick your color, once you pick it stay with the same type to avoid mixing the stabilizers. (Some people brag about the color of their coolant- go figure). The proportion is important.

Water wetter and/or Purple ice are surfactants (aka soap solution), They increase heat transfer by decreasing the surface tension of water. Couple drops of Dawn in your radiator will do the same thing.

Distilled water with a surfactant is the best coolant. Propylene glycol alone is the best antifreeze. Both will need some anti-corrosion agent.

Be sure to change radiator cap.

It's like batteries. A lot of it is made by the same few companies. Just a differnt sticker on the bottle. So many corporations own others. Federal Mogul owns so many alone I can't count them on my hands.

PepBoys or Napa usually carries it, but call ahead.

Your best bet is either an independent Mercedes specialist shop or the dealer (much more expensive).

Also, I use it exclusively in my aluminum-engined Mercedes for over 10-years.

Never a failure due to the coolant.

You should pre mix it before you pour it in, that way it will be exactly how you prepared it instead of adding some of this then alittle of that in the system itself. Plus you'll have some spare stuff you can carry with you and add if needed.
