Coolant hose change!
I am going to change every bit of coolant hose underneath the hood of my Fd and was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice to make the task any easier. It would be greatly appreciated. If you have diagrams or know where to find them then great.....please let me know! thanks alot to the replies!

Advice? Sure, pull the motor
. That's probably the best/easiest way to get to all of the coolant hoses, to include the heater hoses (there are four). Every engine job that Ihor and I do, we swap out all of the coolant hoses if they're the originals. Ray at Malloy has a special on the kit of 15 or so hoses, around 150 bucks, can't beat that

I agree, if you are going to replace every coolant hose then pull the motor. If you are going to pull the motor then I'd do a lot more than just the coolant hoses

Advice #1 - Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda sells a complete kit cheaper than the individual hoses.
Advice #2 - Order an assortment of factory hose clamps or the whole kit. They work better than work type hose clamps and don't screw up the hoses.
I like the throttle body hose and the wax rod. Makes the car start up nicely when cold.

coolant hose change?
I am going to go with the hose kit from Ray at Malloy Mazda but I didn't anticipate pulling the engine! I can hopefully replace the hoses with the engine in. I do have a hydraulic lift available so I think that will help. Anything else please let me know! thanks again!
You can absolutely change the coolant hoses with the engine in place. But honestly you will have to remove some parts to get to hoses like the tb-engine block hose (behind/below the UIM), the turbo coolant hoses (the crossover pipe, air pump, and some intake piping).
It's a tedious job, but it does not justify pulling the motor IMHO.
