went N test drove an FD today
the turbo was red(glowing) before i drove it with it idlign for like 10-15 mins
reason ? or is this normal ???
also i believe its never been cooled down properly(shut down promptly after a hard run) as the 2nd turbo u rlly have to be hammered on the gas for it to go, liek ur blowing out residue.....buildup etc
then after the drive (lasted bout 20 mins)
the coolant was rlly hot, stated add coolant but there was coolant in it, and it seemed to be over heating altho the guage read it was fine.
help asap , as im in PA looking at it and i only have until sunday to decide etc.
likely fixes / prices??? if possible

Where in PA?
The secondary turbo not coming online is probably caused by a boost leak, bad check valve, vacuum hose, or solenoid. Hardly expensive, but if it's not a simple boosk leak or check valve, it can be tricky to pin down the problem.
The red turbo is not good, and probably caused by a dripping or leaking injector. The extra fuel at idle will afterburn in the turbo manifold and get REALLY hot. Removing the injectors and sending them out for cleaning will probably fix it, but if you don't do the labor it's co$tly.
The add coolant thing is the disturbing part. It probably needs an engine rebuild.

Well some of those fixes would take the patience of a surgeon.
But rebuilding an engine with a blown coolant seal just to sell it is unlikely. That problem may be as simple as bad wiring to the temp sensor and add coolant light, but I wouldn't could on that.
