While reattaching the transmission, i forgot to set the throw out bearing back into the clutch ring clip thingy. When i went to crank it up for the first time the clutch sank to the floor. I pulled it back out and pressed it again with the same result. Pulled the inspection plate of and realized that the ring wasn't set. When i pulled the slave cylinder off to grab the clutch fork lever, it leaked a little brake fluid. the slave cylinder looks like it pressed all the way out and leaked a little.

My question is... Am i able to bleed the slave cylinder and press it back in or is it junk now and needing replaced?

 

Reassemble and bleed. The boot and the oring on the piston is all that holds it in. It's all good

 

Yep, welcome to the club. Do that once and you don't forget

Remove the starter and you can use that hole to make sure the end of the slave is touching the clutch fork. You can also use that hole to retrieve the guts of the slave cylinder.

Wipe down the parts, ONLY USE CLEAN BRAKE FLUID on the parts, NO other cleaners or water or anything. Get the throwout bearing engaged, put the slave in, bleed, and there you go.
