Clear coolant lines?

I will be putting back an AST in my car and I need some coolant line that connect the AST to the radiator, does anybody know of any type of clear lines of that will handle the high temperature of the coolant and also what size are they?

I am making my engine bay nice and shiny and I thought this would compliment it better that the standard black one's, but I don't want to use it if it will cause some ill effects.

If you have this on your car post some pics...

That's a pretty unique idea. I'm sure the line is out there, but the stock ones are pre-formed. I'd be worried about the clear lines kinking as the conformed to the bends needed. I've got some clear vacuum hose with braided reinforcements lying around, but it's pretty stiff material. Check mcmaster.com

BTW, if you decide to use the stock lines, I have a pair of AST lines with only 300 miles on them. I used stock clamps, so they have not been squeezed or distorted by too much clamping force. AST was deleted after it started to leak.

When I bought the Greddy AST, it came with some clear lines. Looked really amazing at first, but very quickly started to appear deteriorated and old. They hold up fine, just not as pretty as they used to be...

check out tygon or tygothane hose - i know it can withstand the pressure (you can buy it in braided to stand up to 200psi) but i'm not sure if it can stand up to the temperature, it is rated to 200f+ though, should be ok? i'd feel safer if it said like 250f+, going to do some research later, was planning to buy some hose for my catch can

And the clear hose isnt a good idea as it does look funny after a while.

Your best bet IF you really dont want the black rubber ones, is pvc braided hose.

I believe this is the same hose they give you when you get a catch can kit. I also have some friends that use this hose for their coolant paths.

Looks alot better than just a clear/whitish type of line anyway. IMO.

I was able to get that hose, but I wonder if it is good to use like for say the TB coolant lines?
It seems very strong and durable.
