CA Choosing the right spoiler?

I have been looking at 3 spoilers for 93 touring FD.

The three that I have been looking at are the following:

99 spec spoiler
mazdaspeed wing Type II
VIS OEM 99 spec spoiler

The mazdaspeed wing has to be imported from japan, the 99 spec is expensive, and I have never bought from VIS.

Does anyone have any of these spoilers?

I would love to know and maybe see a picture or two for comparison.

I agree with this, color pending. There're definitely few I like more than the original though. (and the '99 isn't really one of them) Post pics when ya get whatever you go with!

If you mean the Feed Type II, that's one I actually like myself.

I've asked several people who've bought VIS 99 spec spoilers, and they've all said the fitment is just as good as OEM. I think that's what I'm gonna when the time is right.

Also in case you're interested, I'm pretty sure the OEM 99's do not have Carbon Fiber versions, only the VIS spoilers have it.

It depends on what you're trying to accomplish. If you track your FD, you'll appreciate the oem 99 wing or the Mazdaspeed. The 99 piece is really well made and built of sturdy plastic. For some reason, the Mazdaspeed is made out of fiberglass and has some flex to it. Plus it's not adjustable.

If you're debating between 99 oem and vis, see if you can check out the VIS in person and see if the center piece flexes. I remember someone did the calculation, it's supposed to generage 200lbs of downforce at max angle.

Also I'm gonna disagree, FD was born to have a wing =).
