Change in idle

So I just took the Rx7 for a quick cruize to get some fast food ha no pun intended, Well when I started it, it started fine, but its only idling 550-650 doesnt stall just really low idle... The last time I drove it, it was any where between 800-1200 what would cause a change in idle?

how hot is the car?
once it gets heat soaked the idle might go lower than at warm up, a/c on
the car also self adjusts the idle, I wouldnt worry about it for now
1200 might indicate a leak, though

It has always idled around 800-1200 hot or cold

and a Fresh start not warmed up at all it was idling at 500-600ish

Could be a sensor. Tps could be out of whack. IAC most likely the culprit, but it could be doing what it is told correctly. Not sure if a cracked vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator would do this, but it's a thought.

need more specifics, such as what engine management it is using and whether you still have any of the idle control solenoids or not.

obviously it's not stock or it would surge with an idle that high.

I have the PFC with the full block off plates, still sequental, iv gotten rid of 4 of the solenoids, I do know I have a vacuum line off on the solenoid that trasitions the car from the first turbo to the second turbo, but in less then 15 days I am removing the twins and the entire rats nest! Thank god lol

well i'm not sure, unless the throttle cable was what was hanging up to the 1200 idle, use the idle screw to raise it up some.
