Which catback has a large straight through muffler?

I just replaced my catback from an Apexi N1 to a Apexi Noir with my new engine. I love how quiet it is but unlike the description that Apexi gives it is not a straight through muffler. Now that the motors broken in and I'm turning up the boost I feel that the muffler is very restrictive. Does anyone now of a catback that has a large muffler but is straight through?

Might want to look into making your own exhaust.

Word is Coast Fab makes the mufflers for Burns Stainless.

I think he means largest volume (most quieting) straight through muffler, not the largest diameter pipe.

You are probably looking for one of the Japanese oval body exhausts or SMB exhaust.

Actually, the $200 OBX-R 90mm cat back I had was super heavy (packed with stainless steel) and fairly quiet. I did have to cut out a 60mm restriction it had at the exit of the muffler for full 90mm action.

I know the Racing Beat is well loved on this forum, but I hate the tight bends right before the muffler.

That is one issue, if you have the longest muffler possible you end up with tight bends leading up to it.

That dolphin tail is what I want. I will contact JKL and see about the SMB dolphin tail cause I think that may be easier to get. Does anyone know who has the RE?
