ECU won't turn on

hey,

so im having a battle with my car
this is whats happeneing

i drove it around after i just cleaned up the batter terminals in the back and redid some wiring on the coils, everything was great.
then i parked it.. went back out to go out and my ecu wouldnt turn on. i noticed my relays were clicking alot, i fucked up and i put a jumper between the relay slots.. and now it doesnt click. i noticed every time my relays clicked my commander would come on. i was able to stabalize it for a short time to start the car, i thought battery voltage was low so i thought the alternator would help.. it ran for a bit then i turned it off. i turned it back to the on position to see if the ecu was ok now and the relays were clicking .. and the ecu would start upp and shut off. i swapped relays with a known good one and that relay clicked as well. i even went as far as to open the pfc to looked for burnt out solder connections.. nothing. as of now the relays wont click at all.
im stumped.

Do you have a stock ECU to try? I suggest double checking your wiring before trying a new ecu though. You can blow up electrical parts without seeing any visual damage. Can you try the commander on someone elses car?

i was able to get it back to turning on and off, i also noticed the tach bounces and the heat light for the cat goes on and off when the commander goes on and off. i dont have a stock ecu to try ive replaced all fuses that tested bad ive cleaned the main ecu ground the batter ground in the back and the terminal and ive cleaned the main fuse box ground.. i noticed the air pump relay is clicking alot now. im really getting frustrated. all relays check out as well.

did you change any ignition wires ?

I dont mean the spark plug wires , I mean the ones that come from the ignition key

If not I'd suggest you download the FSM and go at the wiring diagrams

Did you check the wires running thru the fender? Your car is low with big tires. You might of rubbed thru some?

i took the harness out of the car (the one that resides in the fenders) and checked it over with all the tape off. i noticed on the wiring diagram that the egi main wire (black with a white stripe) had some teal corrosion. cleaned it up and everything is running great again!. just a reminder.. if you have a lowered car with big wheels. check your harness and move it.

FIXED!
