Unhappy car cutting out what do i do

When I really get on it it will cut out late in second and about 6500 in 3rd. Then in four it will cut out a couple of times. Is that lost of fuel pressure or what?

Sounds like fuel cut, do you have a boost gauge? Are you on the stock ECU?

Well, if you are boosting more than 10psi on the stock ECU it will cut the fuel to 'save' the engine. It basically feels like the engine is cutting off... not a good feeling lol.

So the question is, are you boosting over 10psi?

Get a boost controller ASAP and until then use your foot to control boost. You are a lucky SOB that your engine hasn't blown already.

I don't know your mods, but if your car is stock then something is wrong and causing you to overboost.

not to hijack, but similar question.... When ever I do like a donut or a 180, I lose all power and then get it right back, even if I have over half a tank of gas...... this is the only time that does it..... even when it was totally stock.... right now, 6psi, stock ecu non-sequential, DP, Catback......

I would just use a manual boost controller right now unless you have some extra cash to blow. I would suggest a hallman boost controller or a similar ball/spring MBC on the wastegate actuator. Do a search on this forum for boost controller recommendations and installation help.
