Wow Jeff, that was some fishing expedition you just went on, but unfortunately you didn't catch ****. Shall we talk about the real issue... having to sell your CYM because you can't afford to keep the car and buy a house too?

BTW, any chance you could figure out how to add a smiley face after the period for once?

Jim is such an overgrown ******** who loves to remind other people he has more money than them. Reminds me of that overgrown geezer in that dumbass movie "Napoleon Dynamite." A legend with an expired date back in 1999.

Fine, then be so kind as to extend to me the same courtesy. I think we both know who earns more.

I drove a C6 at the automotion show. Granted it wasn't a long drive but I was not impressed. For a 6.0L with 400lbsft of torque it was gutless until higher revs. I'd vote used 2005 Z06.

Forget the Z06, LS6, C6, C5. Try a Porsche GT3. Drove it this weekend and hammered on it. The poor owner didn't know what he got into when he offered to let me hammer on it.

Power-wise, not as impressive as my 7 but the steering feel is awesome: I could feel the front tire slipping and catching and the rear tires squatting down with more grip. The sound of the flat six from 6K to 8K was very good.

No doubt on who earns more. That isn't the issue.

You know you aren't the richest man in the world right? Someone will always be faster, and someone will always be richer. That pretty much applies to everyone with one exception, the fastest and the richest, neither of them will be posting here.

Extend other's the same courtesy you expect.

Nothing makes me feel better about myself than watching 2 grown men with families squawking on a car forum about how many assets they have.

Thanks gentleman. Now time to get off your computers and go to bed.

Excuse me? You're the one who took an unprovoked shot at me. Have I said anything at all to you in the last month or two? Not that I can remember. Was there any need for you to comment on my post? No, not really. Just being petty, as usual.

Wait, was this another of your attempts to "teach me a lesson" or something noble like that? Way to look out for the best interests of the forum, big man.

OR jim you could of not said your first comment stating that his friend couldn't afford xx, who the hell cares? This post was about which car or what kinda options does he have to go to.

The comment on who makes the most money? Assinine. No one here is really that impressed. If you had any thoughts of the forums best interest in mind you would of just shrugged it off.

Anyways back to the original poster's thread, i'd keep the car and just drive it around for a bit before you make any hard on decisions. Toss a couple mods, nothing huge at it and see how you like it. If it's still not what you want, check out the z06. They do handle pretty good from what i've driven, but you still won't have that same feel as an FD man. But, to each their own sir.

t.c.

Maybe you should read his post a little closer. All he was stating was, not only did the rx7 feel better, but the payments are cheaper, and the viper is worth more. In cause you can't figure it out, if he sold the 7, he would get less cash, and still have high payments with the viper. So between the 2 cars, the viper was the best one to get rid of, more cash in your pocket, and lower payments.

Just like you shrugged it off? Hell, it didn't even have anything to do with you, and you decided to post your opinion on the subject.

Insecurity meter is off the scale!

Who gives a **** how much you make? Not me, not Rotofool666, Angie, Rene, or any other pimple-faced 17yr old with an RX-7 on this forum.

I bet I've got a bigger ***** than you, but I don't drop my pants out in public to reaffirm what I already know!

Have you considered:
Selling your FD, and buying a blown FD, then using that shell to do a fully built LS1/6/2 swap?

By the way... if you expect (after the purchase of the car, of course) the LS1 (even fully built) swap to cost $20,000, your wallet is going to be VERY happy in a year.
