Bye engine... sniff sniff
Well all.... today is a sad day in my life. The past few days have had me worried about my baby, so I took her to the doctor. the doctor said she blew a side seal, so she is going to undergo a heart transplant within the next couple of weeks hopefully. her new heart is going to be a streetported 13B-REW from pettit with all the reliability goodies. While I am spending money, I am going to have the turbos rebuilt/possibly new twins running non-seq, port wastegate/manifold and get them ceramic coated. also on the list will possibly be bored out injecters, new fuel pump, and a new ECU of some kind. if I go ahead and do that, my pettit ECU will be sold to whoever wants it for $600 obo. I will probably get a clutchmasters clutch or a custom made one since I need one anyway, and also a lightened flywheel. oh, I will need an IC while I am at it I guess. I contemplated going single turbo but right now its just not feasable for me. well I am done sharing my sadness. if you have any recommendations for what I should do to the car while its getting rebuilt let me know. thanks.

well it idled pretty rough and sometimes it took it a long while to start up. also once it would start i would blow a lot of smoke. the starting was the problem that concerned me the most, as the idle was kind of wierd before it went. once the car was started and warmed up it made pretty good power still. i forgot to mention that it went at 65k. before now, the only problems I had were one bad h20 pump, but that was like 2 years ago, and some bad soleniods/vac lines. I am pretty sad it went but pretty happy that I will have a nice new engine.

I was told it was unlimited when I bought it used. I dont know how to check, tell me and I will look. my car is a non CA '93. pettit said the ECU could not be programed for larger injectors, which I am getting, so thats why I am getting rid of it.

thanks a lot. i know that i will be needing the ECU in the future, so why not get it now. what is the deal with running a 95 ECU in a 93 though. i know that yours is not a 95, but i heard that it was better or something. im in the market and open for suggestions also.
