Broke something, cheapest place to get one of these?
Today I put my new springs on...the TEIN sTech's.
The results came out very nice. They were a bitch to install, but the car looks alot better and seems to ride better too.
Anyway, my friend and I put them on, and we each tackled one side at a time. When my friend was taking out the passenger side strut/spring combo business, he accidently pulled the wires out of the "wheel speed sensor" or whatever it's called. Now my ABS light is on...
I was told by one of the mechanics at the garage that I had to buy a new one because you can't just stick the wires back in or solder them back on.
I went to see Mike Lowe at Lowe's Automotive (the guys with the 8 or 9 second turbo 1st gen), and he told me he could get one for $279! Is this right?
I want to replace it ASAP, but I don't want to waste that much money if I can repair it or get one cheaper somewhere else.
Thanks,
Tom

Oh yeah, here are some photos from putting the springs on. Special thanks to Corvette's West in Sarasota for letting me use their tools (again!):
If the images are broken, come back in a few mins because I am uploading them still and the upload speeds here at school SUCK!

i was considering the other springs, but i went with the TEIN's because they were only $155 shipped. i really would have liked to get some coil overs but hey, im a struggling college student...lol
i actually have no complaints about them so far. i have put about 40 miles on them and they seem to have settled already. the car really looks alot better too. the wheels dont rub (18x8.5 rims w/ 235/40-18 tires), but my HKS carbon/titanium exhaust did tap the gorund once when i was slowly driving over a raised intersection. damn ricer exhaust!!! the car does feel more stable while accelerating too. before, when i would accelerate quick, the front end of the car would raise, then slam down when i let off the gas to shift. with the new springs, the car really stays more level. making turns the car hugs the road alot more too i think...i mean, they arent a huge improvment, but i do notice some slight +'s already.
i really reccomend them as a cheap replacment for stock if you cant afford coil overs yet...
