Broke my ACV, can it be fixed?

While putting my car back together again at the end of my vacuum hose replacement saga I snapped my Air Control Valve in 2 pieces. That stupid little disc didn't seat properly and it caused me to overtourqe the nut on the upper left side which in turn snapped that whole part of the ACV off of the rest of it. My question is can I use some JB Weld to put it back together temporarily until I either remove it entirely or get a replacement? Consider this a heads up to the rest of you, I've heard of that disc causing lots of problems for other people, if it doesn't seat right it'll make an annoying buzzing sound, or in my case break it in half (my dumb luck).
