MD Bridgeported FD RX7 Really High Idle

So this just started happening the other day while I was driving while car is warmed up the rpms shoot up to about 2500 and stay there it's actually happened before but went away with in like a min so I never really took it seriously until now because now it's just stuck and sometimes it'll go up to about 3000 and just sit there but the other night as I'm pulling into my neighborhood it shot up to 4000 (as if the neighbors didn't alright hate me already after rolling into my neighborhood at like 1am with my car stuck at 4000 rpms idling) but either way I basically really can't drive the car sense the idle is just stuck. I was thinking maybe something along the lines of the air control vaulve or the tps but I'm not to sure sense I've already searched around and couldn't find anything about this and I've never experienced a problem like this before so before I go ordering new parts and tearing into I wanna see if anyone has a had a similar problem?

To me, its sounds like either TPS or intermittent vacuum leak.

Would help to say that I have a new rotaryworks tb and already checked and not sticking at all and its single turboed whit just about everything deleted which I should of mentioned before but I'm guna check for any vaccine leaks then then see if my ICV isn't sticking at all and see if the tps is working properly hopefully something simple as a vaccum leak instead of a ICV or TPS because both are about $250-$300 new

Is your idle speed control removed? If so, is the thermowax also removed? The throttle body coolant line removed as well? If the thermowax is installed with no coolant line to melt it, it will cause the throttle to stick open.

That throttle body is prone to leak around the shaft. I've seen it happen a few times. The tps doesn't usually just go bad unless you physically break it. Check that it is in spec first. Then look for vacuum leaks. You can unplug the iac and see if the idle drops. If it does your idle tuning needs adjusting or the iac is bad.

I remember reading a post a while back on a acceleration problem where the throttle was sticking causing unwanted acceleration. When you said rotaryworks throttlebody I remember that being the problem. Not sure if will help but I dug it up

After re adjusting the Rotary Works TB, replacing the TPS (3 times), I was still having the acceleration issue. Normally, after about 2-5 mins after driving out of my driveway (making it on to the main road).

Finally, I said F*ck it and took the Rotary Works TB off and put the Stock TB with same TPS that was on the Rotary Works. And guess what.. car now idles at 850-900 RPM. No acceleration issues as of yet.

So, it was the damn TB!!
