Bose -- will it work without center amp?
Bose -- will it work without center amp?
If you have the center amp unplugged on a Bose system, does that impact anything else. For example the wires run from the center amp to the center speaker, but do they go to anything else?
Since our center amp fire, we have had trouble getting the radio to work (we have two and neither seems to want to power up since the fire. Just wondering if the wiring past the center amp might be an issue.
Thanks for any help.

Do you mean head unit doesn't power up, or it does, but no sound is produced?
Wires from center amp go to the front speakers only. But center amp feeds itself from the door amp wires (rather than directly form the head unit).

Curious about "either" fail, right now it doesn't power up. Prior, it would power up but no sound.
Currently, i have the center amp unplugged (wires from head unit).
So, if those wires from head unit to center carry any signals through the center amp and on to something else, that's my question.
thanks for any input
