Bad brake master cylinder?

Undergoing an Ls swap and pretty much overhauling everything else on the car and I cannot seem to get my brakes to bleed! The lines were empty and the MC was pulled for paint. I installed the MC, hooked up 2 small brake lines and routed them into the top of the MC (bench bleed from within the car) and cannot seem to get it to bleed. I bought a pneumatic bleeder in hopes it would help but it seems to be mainly sucking air with only a little brake fluid. Any thoughts? Should it be taking this long to rid a possible air pocket within the MC?

There is a valve inside the MC that gets stuck if it has been dry for a while. You have to take it apart and tap on the piston and it will come free.

if that was stuck shut would I still be getting fluid out when I used a pneumatic bleeder? Can't seem to get anywhere without pneumatic bleeder. Using the pedal alone seems to push a very small amount and pull it right back in

I couldn't get mine to bleed at all doing it manually I actually bought two used ones off of here and thought both were broken until someone posted the cut away diagram and found my problem right away.

Look at this thread for cutout. https://www.rx7club.com/3rd-generati...s-work-938510/
