boost spike??

boost spike??
So i read through a bunch of info in the FAQ's to try and figure out why in first and second gear i get really bad boost spikes like 1-1.2 bar (not good) but i cant find a clear reason? any ideas on what i could look for or check to make this easier?

I dont have lots of mods

I thought about geeting boost controller, any recomendations for the best one?

Since I personally hate paying more for things that don't perform better, I recommend a ball-spring manual boost controller rather than an electronic one. But whichever way you go it should give a massive improvement.

Alright that sounds good ill order one and get it installed and see what happens..
Is there something else i should do to the intake maybe since i do have the exhaust open so much, i thought about doin the individual filters but not sure??

The open filters will flow more. It might cause your boost to creep, which no boost controller can stop. (Creep is when the wastegate is fully open and it's still not relieving enough exhaust). To be safe, you should port your wastegate before making any more intake/exhaust mods.
