Boost Problem:Found problem but need help

Hello,
I need your help.
I have problem with the bosst pressure that don't go above 7Psi.
I guess i found the problem. I replaced the "restrictor Pills" that go from the Wastgate with the one of the boost controller, then i removed the boost controller and i left the new restrictor Pills.. Now, making some reserch on Steve Cirian Website i Understand that this is the problem.
May be that my english is not perfect but please what are esactly these restrictor pills?? Are just a rubber hose that restrics with a little section or are more complex???
Someone Know the stock size of these pills and where to find it??
Thanks and Best Regards
Pietro De Lorenzo

They are tiny little plastic pieces that are hidden inside the stock rubber lines that you removed for the boost controller. I dont know the exact size, but they are quite small and allow little air through. You can swap in a bleeder valve and adjust it until you get the correct boost, search for "home depot boost controller" and you should find instructions on that.

^ be very careful when you do this. more restriction = higher boost, i think thats how it goes. if you wish to do the mbs mod, make sure you follow these directions carefully:

http://www.robrobinette.com/boost_controller.htm

in the link above the restrictor pills are located in the the red hoses marked pre-spool and boost pressure(boost controller goes here).

and there steel pills not plastic, if you lived closer i could ship them, i have an extra set. in the pict the black thing in his hand is the hose and the silver thing is the pill. it fits snug into the hose.

Don't worry about your English, we just want to hear that "universal" sweet sound of boosting coming from a RX-7.

Happy boosting holidays.

your just going to have to keep track of which one goes where...the pills have different inlet sizes. may not be much of a difference in sizes, but i'm sure there different for a reason

You don't want to get the pills mixed up. Placing the prespool pill (smaller orifice) in the wastegate line will increase your boost, perhaps overboosting your engine.
