turbo

if the gasket in my turbo manifold has gone is there any chance that im damaging the car by driving like that? and also how much power am i actually loosing? im talking about a 3rd gen rx with single turbo conversion.

I had a little problem with a turbo, my opinion is that since there is pressure all rubber and loosing parts should go outside. but if for some reason it go inside the engine...will be bad.
Try to fix as soon as possible.

I have the same problem. My car is all stock and I think I have a boost/vacum leak. How exeactly did you Identify the culprit?

And then dive into the FAQ section (subsection "T" for turbo troubleshooting) of this forum. The FAQ section is a wealth of information...I didn't sleep, eat, ****, shower or shave for over a week when I first found it...I couldn't stop absorbing all the info.. Damn good stuff.
