Smile Boost issue help

Wondering if anyone ran into this issue before...I have a simplified twin set up, and it runs great just cruising around light/med acceleration. The only problem I am having is AFTER hard acceleration (shifting around 6k-7k) intermittently boost will go offline completely for around 30seconds. Then boost will come back online and be fine, as if something is getting stuck ( check valve, or vsv?). I am trying to figure out what component will have control over this situation. I appreciate all of the help, this community has really been great support for the build on my RX7!

Hi! I have the same issue with my sequentiel twin an someone tell me to check the wastegate actuator and precontrol actuator!
When you boost hard (5k to 8k) your wastegate open almost all the way to maintain your boost level and can get stuck at this point or simply the link of the actuator and the wastegate door can hit the heat shield and get stuck.

I dont check it yet but if you do and find something, keep me inform please

Eric

Sounds much more like a bad check valve not keeping either pressure in the pressure chamber or vacuum in the vacuum chamber.

I had the same problem and mine was a bad check valve. I ended up taking out the rats nest and I actually found 3 check valves that were bad.

Thanks guys, I will replace the 2 check valves for the vacuum chamber and pressure chamber this weekend and let you know how it goes. I will also take a close look at the links to the precontrol and wastegate actuators to make sure nothing is binding.
