now what do u think about mounting the link pod? Im considering just moving my turbo timer to the top of the steering column, and mounting the link box where it used to be, on the underdash to the left of the steering column for a nice inconspicuous look, not to mention saving the center speaker for a 3-gauge pod later on. Opinions??

Haha, mine is still mounted on the passenger side of the tranny tunnel with velcro......eventually I will move both the Profec B and Defi Link box to the under-stereo storage bin. Eventually.

lol. Weellll, the owner before me installed a double-din headunit ( ) so i cant do that, which would be the most ideal imo. Plus, having it over in front of the hood latch will make it easy to run wires through the firewall, no taking off the dash

Just bite the bullet and get a PFC = great accuracy, monitors all of the important operating parameters, and gets you one step closer to tuning!

lol, i WANT to bite that bullet, but im still $800 away from paying this damn thing off to my dad (16th bday in 12 days), so the day that happens, operation PFC will take effect!
