I have a Blitz Electrical Boost Gauge and Scuderia Ciriani doesn't give instructions for it, just mechanical ones. I need to know how to put in an electrical boost gauge, a Blitz one preferred

I would like one also

Have you tried the "search" feature?...I had to say that since I have been bit*h slapped for asking questions that may be considered "common". But hey this is a forum and you should ask what ever the he*l you want!!

So yes...I too want a web page for installing electrical boost gauge!!!

The search for the Robinette page has never worked for me, but after fishing around I found this.

I'm not sure about the Blitz, but when I installed an Apexi EL gauge in my friend's FD, we just tapped the boost source from an unused nipple on the intake manifold, and just wired it in. Took an hour at the most.

We used a mutimeter to find which wires affected the dimmer and such, but everything was right behind the steering column. Looks great, btw. For most cars, you can tap all the wires at the radio - power, ground, and dimmer.

I know the unused nipple your talking about, already have that one figured out. I would just like to have a convient place to tap the wires, what were the colors and locations of them? I don't have a multimeter to tset them or a wiring diagram to help me.

Do you know what type of power you need? Probably switched 12V, ground, and illumination. I used a fuse tap and got my switched 12V from the unused (on my car) sunroof fuse location, and grabbed the illumination from the ash tray light. I grounded it to the bolts by the shifter. There are tons of other places you can get this stuff from, you can ground almost anywhere there is bare metal, switched 12V is plentiful at the fuse box, and the radio. Good luck, maybe you should do a write up when your done.

I'll look on the Scuderia site I guess to find which wires I'll need and them do a write up for an EL gauge install.
