Pics arent the best angle, but as you can tell I had to take it from behind a fence.
Pics-hope these work. Attaching them didnt work.

This is one of the things I am thinking of when I am done with the engine bay. Jason matches the color you want. What condition was the paint, or did you have it redone? What was the cost for labor, etc. Did they have to fill any of the holes, or does it use most or all othe stock ones, assuming you had an R1/R2 tail before...

At the time when i bought the wing, the price of the wing was at $499. It has since gone up. The shop had to fill the holes from the previous r1 wing, which by the way was mounted using 8 points. I think they had replaced the original r1 with another one. The wing came in cym yellow because that was all jason could find at the time. It was in remarkable condition but I still had to paint it black. All in all, filling all 8 holes (inside the car and out), painting wing, matching body color to wing, and mounting. It ran upwards of $400. Not quite sure if it was worth it yet. The holes, obviously, didnt match the r1 holes

That bad boy needs to get out of jail! $400 bail is pretty reasonable....

Very tasty, God I love simple. Simple is good.

How was your overall experience with J-T Imports? He seems like a pretty good businessman.

So if you had a yellow car would the wing have been good to go to just put on, condition wise?

$900 then for a brand new spoiler installed, and holes filled. Not bad. Cheaper then new..

Also I know its late, but I heard instead of filling the holes some people have used electrical tape to put over the top of the holes since the old place were the holes were is not easy to see.

Very classy looking. Great looking car other than the wing as well bro. I hope to have my next 7 fairly soon and will be going with either the '96-'98 wing or the '99 like yours. Again, great looking car! Laterz.

i guess I could have used electrical tape. when the person put the r1 wing on. (originally no wing) they drilled all the way through to the underpanel (which they should not have done) and I would get water leaking through and my towels would get caught on the interior hole's rough edges when drying the car. It was REAL annoying. Plus, there was oxidation where the wing had been sitting on the hatch. They fixed all that for me. Overall experience with jt-imports was great. I'd do it again any day. I simply emailed him, told him what I wanted and he went out and got it... as close to what I wanted as possible at the given time.
SpiritR: if I had a yellow car, the wing could have gone right on without having it painted. For me, it would have saveed about $150 bucks if I had recieved it in black. It really wasnt worth the wait to me though.

For those interested you can get the same wing here in the states and it comes prepainted to match the car. Only color it does not come in is Montego blue.

My experience with JT-Imports is also great service. I thought he had raised the 99 spec wings up from about 500.

I agree with everything you did. I have thought of just tossing the R2 wing and going clean because of the great lines. You should not dick around with half measures, do to possible further complications...

Looks sweet!

Jason, you make me start to consider what painting costs would be. I wonder if Jason (Japan) raised his prices given what you are charging. Doesn't matter, I gotta take care of the GO before the SHOW anyways...

When I think about how much I actually spend on the wing... I wonder if I should have done an intercooler or something else.
