Great Looking car. I want the same turbo set up. I will be bumping up the injectors a little. I also will be going to a koyo rad. nut sure on ic set up. still looking. I also feel that the car should have a close look to stck if not stock. All changes should be albe to go back to stock. (IMO). This is not to down grade any other cars. I have seen some great looking cars here. I also have seen some hack jobs in person. By hacks I mean that the things done to the car are not done right or are just slapped together.

Let me know what #'s you get when you go to the dyno. I also would like to see the dyno sheet if you can. Once again the car looks great.

I am running 550 pri and 1300 sec injectors, with the BNR set up that is all you will need. Im not sure excatly what your plans are but i talked with a few people inc Bryan at BNR and steve kan and they all said that 1300 sec is fine.

I will post the dyno sheet for sure, i should be going in the next couple weeks.

Thanks for your info. I am am trying to get to 400 hp at the the wheels with this set up. I have have been told that this can not happen. Lately I have been reading that people are getting very close with this set up. I also have seen that if the twin set up is non seq. that they are getting more hp then that.

Paging GoodfellaFD3S! He made 421rwhp with the BNR twins, setup non-sequentially. https://www.rx7club.com/time-slips-dyno-121/finally-bnr-stage-3-high-boost-dyno-results-442095/

And yes, there's a power difference between sequential and non-sequential. The (full) non-sequential flows a bit better, so it'll make approx. an additional 20 hp over sequential. Oh and before this turns into an "about the BNR twins" thread, there have been quite a few threads about quite a few ppl dynoing the new Stage III BNRs (that's the key; the NEW Stage III's). So do a search, as there's *plenty* of info available about 'em.

Shawn,

I'll be looking forward to seeing you're dyno sheet! BNR is building some sequential stage 3's for me now and I just bought a fuel system (Rail,fpr,1600's). I run a greedy smic and m2 intake with matching hard-pipes for both. I will post my sheet when things are together and that may help you decide whether or not you want to go with a smic.

Dean.

The knightsport head light kit, like just about every other part on my car, came from Japan. I have seen some in the for sale section used, or you could order them brand new still. You can oder them directly from Knightsports with HID, but mine were just normal bulbs and i installed the Kaixen HID system in it.

cheers

Sweet, always look forward to some comparisons. Do you by any chance have pics of your Greedy IC installed? Im looking at either that same one or the ARC SMIC.

Shawn,

I'll take a pic and post it here tomorrow. You won't like it though, it's polished. I'll get it powder coated black, along with the m2 intake when the new motor, fuel system and BNR's go in.

I can't remember if he used racing fuel, but he prob did. That means he actually lost power on the dyno, b/c he was using it as a safety margin, not to make more power. If you don't tune for race gas, you will LOSE power, as it's burning characteristics are different than regular fuel. You have to change the timing for one.

I can get it for ya from Knightsports...and like Shawn said, it comes w/ or w/o HID...that's up to you.

Here you go Shawn. It's a greddy smic. I sat the stock intake piece on the front so that you could see what it would look like. I kept it in place untill I installed the m2 intake. It fit good, just pushed on the ic a little.

Dean.

Shawn, The greddy smic. comes with the piping that you will need. The greddy upper ic pipe is a short, bent section that hooks to you're stock elbow ( I didn't use it because I had the greddy 2 piece kit....elbow and upper pipe). They both look similar to you're hks pipes, but the greddy pipe is prob. shorter because the ic is thicker than stock. If you're hks pipes wont work then the pipes that come with the ic will.

How are the BNR Seq. working out for you?

Do you feel they were money well spent?
