BNR Stage 3 Sequential - Current RWHP Record?

Hey guys,

I'm just curious if anyone knows or can supply a link to the known current highest RWHP for BNR Stage 3 Turbos running sequentially on a Mustang Dyno.

I believe I am close to this 'record' but want to make sure. Any help much appreciated! Thanks!

That is non sequential.

For sequential BNR 3s I think Yellow R1 has the highest from 2012 on a Dynojet, but I may be wrong.

429.99rwhp

Thanks guys. And Moe Green, I said sequential and turbos as it sits. If I add an external wastegate and other things to my BNRs, well then for all intensive purposes they're not 'off the shelf' BNRs anymore

Oh my bad, not sure why I thought you were running non-sequential... probably used to seeing only non-sequentails make the same kind of power that you are. Just proves how well you and your brother have built the car.

470 WHP is Dyno Jet numbers, 433 WHP was the official Mustang Dyno numbers Ball_joint had the numbers corrected over to Dyno Jet.

Got it. So technically if I put down more than 433 RWHP on a Mustang Dyno with my sequentials then I would hold the record for highest RWHP on not only BNR Sequential but parallel as well so overall?

I have a similar setup motor built by IRP as well, i was trying to chase the record on sequential BNRs but i recently sold my setup for IRP's EFR 8374 Kit... i feel like a sell out, but excited to see your results! lol

Yes and on a Mustang Dyno which typically yields lower hp numbers than most other dynos.

Great number, this doesn't help my decision to go single EFR or stick with the twins lol.

A EFR will have less backpressure and therefore create less heat. The BNRs are limited by the restrictive stock exhaust housings and the hardware needed to run them. You still have the heavy stock cast manifold, actuators, solenoids, vacuum hoses, etc. We wanted to push the turbos as far as they would go to see what we could achieve. Realistically I recommend slightly detuning the car for everyday use and only running the 20 psi for racing. For a 400-420 hp goal the BNRs can't be beat for the price. We sell a lot of these turbos.

Crazy to think that a 23 year old car has the same power to weight as a new (2017) Porsche 911 Turbo S
