If you can not figure how to install block off plates on your own, you definitely should not try to do any work on your car. You do not have even the basic skills needed for this car.

I think this is a reasonable question and I'll write a small document on this in a few days time. My block off kit only included 5 plates and I used 4 of them as I don't have EGR.
ACV is on the LIM, AWS is on the throttle body, and I blocked off the hole that used to go down to the CAT. I'm unsure if that was required or not. Hm... what else did I block off.

There was a picture floating around here of the FD engine bay with arrows pointing to all the places the blockoff plates went. Does anyone have that picture? or maybe someone could receate it. I remember that being very helpfull.

The block off plates are self explanatory, (kind of like the square peg goes in the square hole) The best way to take care of the thermal wax rod is to remove the TB remove the Thermal wax unit, take the snap ring off the the cam for the thermal wax rod assembly (other wise you have to wire it down to keep it from getting in the way of your throttle linkage) to get that cam off the TB you'll have to take the TPS off and take the TPS housing screws out so you can turn the housing to a position that will allow you to remove the cam.

The thermal wax rod is part of the AWS, it's not just electrical and adjusting it will determine how high the idle will go with this system.

He wasn't being ignorant. He was being realistic, as it has nothing to do with knowing everything. First of all you have to read and understand what it is you are removing and why. Second if you can't look at the part you removed and determine which block off plate would take it's place you are not capable of working on this or any thing else mechanical (square peg, square hole) You can remove and block off what ever you choose to on these cars. Will it run correctly (or at all) guess you genius's should be able to determine that just by asking.
